• Presentation:

Franco Bianco is from Argentina, but now is living in Switzerland. His music experimented a huge growing in the last years, due to the multiple works released in different labels and netlabels, making possible his positioning in the more and more saturated dance music scene.

His main argument is to be original when he face these tasks, very groovy and fresh minimal with percussions and samples going out from the current trendy minimal style, which will help us on the way through this hot summer.

• Franco Bianco Bio:

In 2005, during his residency at Midland Lounge, a disco-pub in Palermo Soho, Franco Bianco shared his residency with talented artists like Leo García, Fabián Dellamónica, Victoria Mil, Diego Ro-k, Andres Zacco, Zuker, Mujik, Ale Lacroix, Flavio Etcheto, Gustavo Ceratti, Boeing, Violett, Notone (Chile), Vince (Uruguay) and Barem, among others.

Franco has created a cult following for his style of post-music and is constantly improving. In addition to his residency he has performed at the Bajo Fondo Tango Club (Uruguay) in 2003; Personal fest 2004 where he shared a line up with some of the best artists in music like Blondie, Pet Shop Boys, Morrissey, Rinôcerôse, Primal Scream, Death in Vegas and Andy Smith.

In 2005 he appeared at Código País next to Electroliving and Boein; Campo Mandes next to Franco Cinelli and Nico Purman; X4 radio next to Manuel Sahagún, Faena Hotel and Universe next to Ultra Tango and a lot of acts in night clubs and pubs in the city of Buenos Aires.

After an extensive tour of the Uruguayan coast with his French friend, Bruno Gervais, and local artist Vince, Franco has concentrated on his vinyl-only DJ sets, intensifying and customizing acts with his own loops and samples. 2006 saw Franco perform at the Night Club Opera Bay alongside Diego Ro-K and Tommy Jacobs and in July alongside Dj Buey in Uruguay on the opening of “Central”, which promises to be one of the most exciting and important parties in Montevideo.

In the oncoming months for 2007, Franco is scheduled to tour Europe and Australia in support of his releases on labels such as UnfoundSound, LessIzMore, Hypercolour, Miga, Minuendo, Meerestief and Miniscule.

Franco Bianco, artista argentino afincado en Suiza, ha experimentado un crecimiento notable en los últimos años, prueba de ello son los numerosos trabajos publicados en diferentes sellos y netlabels, que le ha permitido posicionarse dentro de un circuito (el de la música de baile) cada vez más saturado y homogéneo.

Su principal virtud es la originalidad con la que este artista afronta sus trabajos, minimal muy bailable, fresco, con percusiones y samples que se desmarcan del manido discurso minimalista y que nos ayudarán sin duda a pasar un mejor verano.

Además de la mencionada residencia, ha tocado en sitios como Bajo Fondo Tango Club (Uruguay) en 2003; Personal fest 2004 donde compartió cartel con artistas de la talla de Blondie, Pet Shop Boys, Morrissey, Rinôcerôse, Primal Scream, Death in Vegas o Andy Smith.

En 2005 actuó en Codigo Pais junto a Electroliving & Boein; Campo Mandes junto a Franco Cinelli y Nico Purman; X4 radio junto a Manuel Sahagun, Faena Hotel y Universe junto a Ultra Tango, además de muchos directos en night clubs y pubs en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Después de un intenso tour por la costa uruguaya con su amigo frances Bruno Gervais y el artista local Vince, Franco se concentró en sets basados únicamente en vinilo, pero intensificados y customizados con sus propios loops y samples. En 2006 actúa en el Night Club Opera Bay junto a Diego Ro-K y Tommy Jacobs y en julio en Uruguay en la apertura de "Central", que promete ser una de las mas excitantes e importantes fiestas de Montevideo.

En los meses de 2007, Franco tiene contratadas actuaciones a lo largo de Europa y está lanzando referencias en sellos como UnfoundSound, LessIzMore, Hypercolour, Miga, Minuendo, Meerestief o Miniscule.
